Design
FosPower's banana plugs make speaker installation simple. They are designed for use with speakers, A/V receivers, amplifiers, surround sound systems and banana wall plates that use banana style binding posts. Banana plugs make it easy to connect speaker wire to your amplifiers/receivers and speakers.
Closed Type
With the closed type design, the speaker wire enters the banana plug from the rear/back side and is enclosed inside the metal collar. This isolates the wires and keeps them from shorting out.
Dual Screws
2 set screws secure the speaker wire to the banana plug.
6-Leaf Gold Plated Connector
Prevents corrosion and insures a smooth connection. The 6-leaf connector adds a stronger socket grip and connection for your speaker wire and banana plugs.
Works with Multiple Sizes of Speaker Wire
For use with 12AWG to 18AWG speaker wire.
Color Coded
Conveniently color coded with two different colors for easy polarity identification.

These are really good quality and made well. They connect great, easy to put in, and got here fast too. But there is one thing that made me give it less stars. If you go to the fospower website where they make these, they sell it for $16.99 , they charge $23.98 which comes to $25.42 with everything added. You can get 20 of them for just $30.99 from the company. This is a really good product, but make sure to check the company’s own site before you buy it on. The prices are usually higher on than from the original makers.

Twisting the nuts on the speaker wires was always a pain and they never felt secure enough. Now with these new pins, i feel sure they wont come loose and i can really hear my system the way its supposed to sound. I didnt remember to snap pictures after setting them up, but the video really shows what my audio system can do.

Screw broke and wont come out

The connectors was okay but one of them had a screw that wouldnt come out no matter how hard i tried. I pushed real hard to unscrew it but the top part of the screw broke off and now its jammed in there. I think the threads inside the hole wasnt made right cause bits of it was coming off. Now i cant use that connector cause the broken screw is in the way and i cant put the wire in.

This thing is pretty good for how much it costs. I used it to hook up speakers to an integra drx 8.4 and it fit real snug. I’d tell people to buy it.

Plug and casing got no insulation

My onkyo keep telling me to check the speaker wires. When i used my ohmmeter, i found out the outside of the plugs aint got no insulation. This can cause a short when they touch each other. Its mostly a problem with the right angle plugs cause they can move and bump into each other. They seem like they got a clear insulator but they actually conductive. They hit each other when our cat go behind the speakers. I had to put electrical tape on one of each pair to stop them from shorting.
