I got this one cuz it made me laugh that they said it was 24k gold plated. The thing that really matter is it uses light to send the signal. It wasnt too expensive and it seems like it can last a long time so thats good. But if you dont wanna spend much, you might find something cheaper that aint gold plated or fancy like that.

Never tried a optical cord before this but wow, the sound in my stereo reciever got so much louder with this one. Gonna pick these over hdmi and av cables whenever i can. Not sure why the sound is so much better and louder, but it really is. Totally worth it. Super happy with the purchase!
