Good timer but programming could be better

I got this to replace an old timer that wasnt keeping time right. It was losing minutes every day. This new one fixed that issue. I really like that it has lots of different times you can set and a random option too. But like some people mentioned, its weird that if you change the time it doesnt start working until the next day. Maybe the manufacturer had some issues with the dates they couldnt solve. The best way i found to change when it turns on or off is to do it right after it shuts off at night, then just go to sleep. Aside from that, its a good buy but next time i might look around more to find one that updates the times right away without waiting.

After you done setting up your program, remember to connect the timer to a power outlet and the device you wanna manage. Next, hit the manual button till it shows auto on it. A red light will show up to let you know everything is working right.

I could set up ten timers, five for turning on and five for turning off, right after taking it out of the box, no need to read the manual. It was a nice surprise to see it came with two plugs. Everything’s working fine till now!

I got this timer for a outdoor fountain that has lights too. One plug is for the pump and the other is for the lights. Its just right for what i need. You can set it up lots of ways. It wasnt too hard to make it turn on in the morning and off at night every day. Its supposed to be for inside but i keep it outside. I just cover it with a fake rock so it dont get ruined by weather. It been working good with no trouble.

Flexible timer with 10 settable on and off times for 120 v outputs

I didnt have any problems setting up this timer. I used to have a similar one from a different brand. I got these to replace the old mechanical ones i used for keeping my house safe. Those old ones had little pins you had to pull or push every 15 minutes. Those pins could move by accident and mess up the settings. These new digital ones are way easier to program for turning things on and off. This timer got two 120 v outlets that work when the timer is on. It can handle 2 things at the same time if you need it. I think it lets you make 10 different on and off schedules. Each schedule can have its own times and days set up. I only tested these timers to see if i could set them up right. Havent really used them for keeping my house safe yet. There is one thing about these timers i really like. From 6pm to 6am, it can turn on randomly for different times between 10 and 30 minutes. This is great for making it look like someone is home by turning on lights and stuff when you are not there. This is exactly what i needed for when i go on vacation.

Them timers work just fine for simple stuff, exactly what i was looking for. Its cool cause it got 10 options to turn things on and another 10 to turn them off. The directions to use it are easy to follow. You plug it in the wall and the other plug goes into the side, so it dont stick out much.

Good hardware but hard to set up

I got four of these to help with the lights in my vivariums cause they dont cost much and theyre pretty good quality. But setting them up is a real headache. Feels like whoever made the instructions was out of their mind. You cant just tinker with it and figure it out, you gotta have the instructions right there or else its a big mess. Also, it starts off in military time and if you keep pressing buttons, it goes way past 24:00, like up to 53:00 or something weird. I dont even know what that means. Maybe its some secret feature or something. Anyway, its a decent timer and lets you set different times for different days. But all that extra stuff makes it really annoying to use. If youre okay with dealing with cheap gadgets from , you might not mind it (at least the instructions are in english). But i wouldnt recommend buying this for your grandma.

What to do if your device not turning on

So i got a few tips for when your stuff dont work. First, i had this one gadget that wouldnt start up, no matter how long i charged it. But then i reset it, and bam, it started working just fine. Second, there was this other thing i was trying to set up. I did everything the manual said, but it still wouldnt turn on. I figured out later that it had two auto settings, one for turning it off and one for turning it on. You gotta make sure to hit the manual button to switch between them after setting it up so it works when you want it to. Make sure to check it when it supposed to be on.

These timers listen to commands

These timers aint the easiest to set up, but after you figure it out a few times, it gets simpler. They work like youd hope they would. They keep time pretty well, which means you dont gotta keep setting the time over and over. The manual mode does its job right, even though its kinda tricky to get. If its set to be on or off, switching it to auto wont change anything until its the right time to switch. Like, if i set it to turn on at 2 pm and off at 5 pm, and i switch it off after 2 but before 5, then flip it back to auto, it stays off till 2 pm the next day. If i turn it on after 5, it stays on till 5 the next day.
